Getting here
Selkirk Place runs off the south side of Portman Square. The nearest Underground stations are Marble Arch and Bond Street, both around eight minutes on foot; Marylebone and Paddington mainline stations are a little further. There is no hotel car park — the nearest public one is on Chapel Street — and street parking on Selkirk Place itself is permit-only.
Black cabs know the street; if giving directions by phone, "just off the south side of Portman Square, between the garden and the mews" tends to work better than the postcode alone.
The casino in the hotel
The casino is part of Grandstay Hotel, on the lower ground floor and reached from the main staircase just off reception. Hotel guests can go down without leaving the building. Entry is restricted to over-18s, and photo identification is checked at the door — opening hours and house rules are explained in person, at reception or on arrival.
